Report abuse or a safety issue

In the app: long-press a message → Report, or open a user's profile → Block. For urgent safety concerns, email team@unitalk.ca with "SAFETY" in the subject. In an emergency, contact local emergency services first — UniTalk is not an emergency service.

Report a technical issue

Email team@unitalk.ca with what happened, what you expected, and your build number.

Privacy help & data requests

For access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, or complaints, see Privacy Choices or email team@unitalk.ca (we respond within 30 days).

Delete your account

In the app: Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account. Your access is disabled immediately and your account information is deleted or anonymized within 10 days (including your profile photo and any voice recordings you sent). Deletion is final and cannot be undone. Content you posted in shared chats may remain in anonymized form ("Deleted User") so conversations stay readable. See the Privacy Policy.

Add or remove an institution

UniTalk supports one account with multiple verified institutional emails. Verify an additional institutional email in the app if you're affiliated with more than one supported school, or remove a secondary institution from your account. Your primary institution stays with your account while it's active.

Syllabus or AI (Younen) problems

If a syllabus failed to process or shows wrong dates, email team@unitalk.ca with the course code (you can also re-upload a corrected syllabus to replace it). For incorrect or harmful AI output, email the same address with a description. See AI Transparency.

Emergency disclaimer

UniTalk is a student communication app, not an emergency, medical, legal, or crisis service. If you or someone else is in danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
